GROW MINISTRY
Cherish Marriage Conference: We are excited to present the Cherish Marriage Conference for all who wish to enrich their marriage in fresh ways, regardless of how long you have been together. Come join Gary Thomas, bestselling author and international speaker, as he teaches on his newest book on marriage, Cherish.
The conference will be Friday night and Saturday, September 7-8 and run from 7 pm to 9:30 pm on Friday, and from 8:15 am to 12:45 pm on Saturday, September 8. Limited childcare will be available and will be first come first serve. Sign up today in the lobby or at www.cherishmarriage.info.
GO MINISTRY
Go Spotlight: This month, we would like to highlight Elijah and Alli Kellogg, who are working in Southeast Asia with OMF/Global Grace Missionaries. They will be working among a vastly unreached people group called the Shan-Tai. There are nearly seven million Shan people in existence today, with less than 1% reached for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Elijah and Alli desire to make disciples of Jesus and plant house-based churches within the Shan culture.
Walk For Life: This year, Crossroads is excited to host the Santa Clarita Valley Pregnancy Center Walk for Life! The walk will start here, at Crossroads on Saturday, September 29, at 9 AM, with registration opening at 8 AM. Please consider joining us and our city's community of believers supporting and protecting the sanctity of human life. You can register to walk as an individual, family, or team, or donate at www.scvpc.org/walk-for-life or visit Registration Central in our lobby to pick up a written registration form. ELEVATE MINISTRY - Jr. High and High School
Elevate Surf Club: Third Sunday of the month, $5 – Surf Club is for students who can surf or who want to learn. We meet outside the church office at 8:00 a.m. We check the surf report, and then head out to the beach with the gnarliest waves! You need to bring $5, a wetsuit, a board, and money for food. If you don’t have a board, we have a few to lend. Surf Club usually returns around 6:30 p.m. Hey parents, we need drivers if you want to join us!
NEXGEN MINISTRY - Birth to Sixth Grade
UP Youth Group: UP youth group is open to all kids 4 years old through 6th grade. We meet from 7:00-8:30 for 10 weeks on Tuesday nights, September 11 - November 13. You do not need to sign up, just show up.
We are looking for people interested in serving in during UP (4 years old - 6th grade) on Tuesday nights. Please email nexgen@lifeatcrossroads.org if interested.
