GROW MINISTRY
Women’s Summer Nights: Women of Crossroads, please join us this summer as we come together to spend time in worship and teaching, as well as dessert and community with other women. Mark your calendar for August 24 from 7-9 pm. The cost is $5. You can sign up in the lobby, or online at www.lifeatcrossroads.info.
Cherish Marriage Conference: We are excited to present the Cherish Marriage Conference for all who wish to enrich their marriage in fresh ways, regardless of how long you have been together. Come join Gary Thomas, bestselling author and international speaker, as he teaches on his newest book on marriage, Cherish.
The conference will be Friday night and Saturday, September 7-8 and run from 7 pm to 9:30 pm on Friday, and from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm on Saturday, September 8. Limited childcare will be available and will be first come first serve. Sign up today in the lobby or at www.cherishmarriage.info.
GO MINISTRY
Go Spotlight: John and Ramie Book serve with Bridges International, a ministry of Cru, as one of our local Go partners, reaching the international students of UCLA, USC, and other campuses throughout Los Angeles. Their mission is to share Christ with international students at these schools, that they might come to Christ and return to their home countries as gospel influencers. Whether on campus or in the dorms, the Books are fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples of students in the Los Angeles area.
COLLEGE MINISTRY
Our college ministry (Oxford Fellowship) will not be meeting during the month of August. We will resume on September 2nd!
ELEVATE MINISTRY - Jr. High and High School
Elevate Surf Club: Third Sunday of the month, $5 – Surf Club is for students who can surf or who want to learn. We meet outside the church office at 8:00 a.m. We check the surf report, and then head out to the beach with the gnarliest waves! You need to bring $5, a wetsuit, a board, and money for food. If you don’t have a board, we have a few to lend. Surf Club usually returns around 6:30 p.m. Hey parents, we need drivers if you want to join us!
