Crossroads Family, you are greatly loved and prayed for during these days. Please let us know if we can serve you or your family in any way and how we can pray for you specifically.

Crossroads Church Opening (May 27, 2020 Update)

Dear Crossroads Family,

What a week we have had as we are seeing the relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions! We are so excited to share with you our plans and plays for the summer. Let's start with the fact we have had the President, the Governor, County Supervisors, and City Council approve the initial steps of opening church campuses back up. As you know, our commitment has been to submit to those in authority and not start the opening process until we were given the green light.

We now have the green light!

Our play calling is going to take one month at a time approach, starting with June. The initial process, frankly, is going to be anything but ordinary, but it is a start. One immediate change is that each service will only last for 60 minutes to lessen peoples time on campus. On Sunday, June 7th, we will commence with two options for worship.

First, let's talk about our Livestreaming of worship services. This practice will continue, and we do not have any plans to stop the Livestream of worship services at Crossroads. Therefore, our recommendation is that the Crossroads church family gather together in homes with small groups, close friends, and family for worship via Livestream. We highly recommend those in the COVID-19 risk categories to Livestream services in their own homes. We require that any persons with flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, cold, etc.) stay at home and Livestream the service. Once the symptoms have ended and enough time has passed to clear you of any potential transmission, you may return to the campus.

Second, starting June 7th, the Crossroads family will be able to attend an on-campus worship service. Each week you must pre-register online at www.lifeatcrossroads.org to attend the filming of the Livestream service on-campus. Currently, this is limited to the first 100 who register for the service, including kids, but not including staff and workers. We look forward to increasing the overall number in the weeks and months to come. So you're not surprised, each service will be directed towards the Livestreaming at home. Those in attendance will also be required to follow the Crossroads Campus Health and Facility Protocols. Please click here and read them over before you attend an on-campus service.

Crossroads, here is an exciting announcement, a new worship service will be added on Thursday nights at 6:30PM. The first Thursday night Livestream worship service will take place on Thursday, June 11th. This service will have the same leaders, same messages, and same musical worship of the coming Sunday morning. This will give Crossroads three services a week to allow more people to attend and maintain our Health Protocols. We may add additional services should it become necessary.

June Worship Services
In-Home Gathering Worship Services - starts June 7th
Livestream on Thursdays at 6:30 PM | Sundays at 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM

On-Campus Worship Services - starts Sunday, June 7th & Thursday, June 11th
In-Person on Thursdays at 6:30 PM | Sundays at 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM

Finally, a quick reminder if you plan to join us for the Livestream on campus. You must read through our Health Protocols before attending. This will make you aware of all the steps Crossroads is taking, so we love each other and our community well. There will be no NexGen ministry available in June. And don't forget the service will be directed to those Livestreaming at home. Lastly, you will need to register online to secure your seat each week.

We are so looking forward to the coming months, and the ability to all be together again.

March 12, 2020 Crossroads Ministry Update

Dear Crossroads Family,

Crossroads leadership has been weighing our options as to what would be the best decision for our church family in light of recent health concerns regarding the progression of COVID-19.

As a result—this Sunday, March 15—we have decided it is best to not hold Sunday services at our Rye Canyon location.  Instead, we will Live Stream our services online and worship as a church family over the internet live at 8:00 AM | 9:30 AM | 11:00 AM.

We know that this virus is affecting all of us in many ways.  Our desire is to both honor the governmental authorities over us and care for those within our church family as best we can.

Finally, we know that God is in control and we trust Him to care for His people and accomplish His purposes for His glory and our good—in both Crossroads and the world. Please pray for people during this time. Pray for the lives of each individual in three ways: that lives would be safe, saved, and sanctified in Christ.

There are two ways to join Crossroads Live Stream Sunday services:
1. Crossroads Homepage: www.lifeatcrossroads.org
2. Crossroads Facebook:
www.facebook.com/lifeatcrossroads

You may give your offering online at:
www.lifeatcrossroads.org/give

We will keep you informed regarding ministries in the upcoming week and Sunday services the following weekend. Until then, we really desire to worship with you at home via Live Stream this Sunday.

Our God is Faithful,
Crossroads Leadership

Men - please note we have cancelled the Men's Conference for this weekend.

October 29th Believers Baptism

What is "The Wilderness"?

We are standing at the edge of the next chapter of Crossroads. For the last 10 years, we have watched God do earth-shaking things for our crazy church family. God is about to do it once again as this new chapter opens for Crossroads.

Prior to our move to our new church home on Rye Canyon, God is going to take us into the wilderness, just like he did with the Israelites prior to their entrance into the Promised Land. Like the Israelites, there is no turning back. Our only way now is forward. We cannot pause to ponder, as we must pray and plow forward. The Lord had this same expectation of the

Israelites when He said in Exodus 14:15, “The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.”

The great adventure is about to begin. During this time, we must be prepared to receive and learn all that God has in store for us, first in the wilderness and then in our new home.

As we prepare to enter our new home, we are leaving our main campus at the end of June and enter a short period that we are calling our “Wilderness Journey.” Here are important dates to remember:

→ June 25: Last Sunday for Worship Services @ Main & West Campus

→ July 1: Volunteer Service Run Through at Savia 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

→ July 2: Worship Services @ Savia Community Center 23780 Newhall Avenue, 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The journey is always more important than the destination. The Israelites made the journey together as a people, and we will do the same as a family. Church is not a building; it is a family, and the significant construction happens as we are built up in Christ together. I personally invite you on this journey and confidently believe that our wilderness days will be of great importance to the life of our church family.

Forward Together, Pastor Todd

2016 Fall Grow Offerings

We desire to help people progressively become like Jesus over time. In fact, Jesus wants us to follow Him with our whole heart. As a result, we desire to help people bring all of their lives under the leadership of Jesus. We call this concept Whole Life Discipleship. To achieve this goal, we provide opportunities to learn God’s truth, apply biblical skills to life and help you use your gifting to have an influence for Christ.

Truth

God has given us the Bible to be our guide for life. In our Truth offerings, you will learn what the Bible teaches and how it applies to your life.

Skills

This area is designed to help you learn practical biblical skills for essential areas of life, such as marriage, parenting, vocation, stewardship, biblical manhood, biblical womanhood and how to develop our relationship with Jesus.

Influence

All of us have gifts and abilities and need to use them in the service of Jesus and others. We want to equip you to leverage your relationships, gifts, and vocation for the Kingdom.

You can check out the listings below of what we have available this fall and I hope you'll join us and we aim to grow closer to Jesus.
