CROSSROADS BULLETIN

SPOTLIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT

WILDERNESS JOURNEY

As we prepare to enter our new home, we will be leaving our main campus at the end of July and enter a short period that we are calling our “Wilderness Journey.” Here are some important dates to remember:

July 30    Last Sunday for Worship Services @ Main & West Campus

August 6    Worship Services Services @ TBD

October 8 Grand Opening at 25300 Rye Canyon

Crossroads offices will remain at our North Campus and ministry will continue as normal during our time in the wilderness.

During our transition time, we are estimating that we are going to need an additional $150,000 “over and above” our normal giving for our Building Fund. This will assist us in covering additional costs associated with this delay, including:

    Temporary Worship Location

Rent for our North Campus Offices

    New Building Carrying Costs

We are asking that each person who attends Crossroads to prayerfully consider giving over and above your regular tithe to carry us through this wilderness period and into the new building. If you would take part in raising an additional $150,000, we ask that you make your offering to our Building Fund. Should you have any questions, please feel free to talk to Steve Stark, our Church Administrator, or one of our Elders.

ALL CHURCH

This Sunday at Crossroads, Pastor Todd Smith will conclude his Good and Evil series with a sermon titled, “Angels and Demons” Next week, Pastor Todd’s sermon will be titled, “Thanks, Mom!”.

Join us next Sunday as we celebrate our moms at Crossroads. We are excited to celebrate moms at all four services. We will be having a special service for our 5:00 PM evening service, and we will be serving soft serve ice cream from the King Kone truck! To make it a bit easier on families, we will be offering NexGen for all grades at the 5 p.m. service. So, join us at one of our three morning services, or make plans to be at our special evening service as we make a big deal about Mom! All services will include a special Mother's Day message and some special surprises.

GO MINISTRY

Our Go Partner Spotlight of the month is James Townley; who is a missionary with Pioneers in Albania. His ministry is to reach out to the Roma people; a minority group who are outcast from the society and who are unreached by the gospel. He does this by building relationships, meeting their physical and spiritual needs, and through soccer outreach. Through his outreach, he hopes to make disciples and plant an indigenous church. Please pray for James as he continues to learn the language and build relationships, as well as for his safety.

Baby Bottle Boomerang: This Mother's Day, don't forget to pick up your bottle to fill with change! All proceeds will go to the Santa Clarita Valley Pregnancy Center. You can grab one today at the Registration Cart or church offices. Please bring your filled bottle back to the cart by Father's Day, Sunday, June 18.

WORSHIP MINISTRY

We are looking for gifted string players who want to serve Jesus with their talent.  Contact our Worship Director at gclark@lifeatcrossroads.org.

NEXGEN MINISTRY

NexGen is looking for families who want to get involved with NexGen this summer. We have many spots that have been held by college students during the school year who are going home for the summer, so if you'd like to step in now is the time! Contact Nichole for more info. ngreer@lifeatcrossroads.org

TEN

TEN is a mission we launched on our ten-year anniversary, when the Crossroads family, by God's grace, commits to giving our lives away in three ways. First, is by planting ten healthy Bible-teaching churches. Second, is to build out and pay off the Valencia Crossroads' main campus within the next ten years. Last, is to identify, select, and financially underwrite the cost to send ten teenage orphans to the Master's University. Join us. Together, we can invest in the future today by making your check out to TEN or donating online at lifeatcrossroads.org/give. All contributions to TEN are tax-deductible under IRS guidelines.
