Life at Crossroads 101

Our Life at Crossroads 101 event allows you to meet the staff and elders, as well as gain an appreciation of our history and our hope for the future. Join us Sunday, October 22, here at Savia, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can register yourself and your family by visiting www.lifeatcrossroads.info or our Guest Services in the lobby on a Sunday.

Believer’s Baptism

Have you committed your life to Christ but never taken the step of baptism? We want to invite you to join us during all three morning services on Sunday, October 29th, for the Believer's Baptism. Sign up today at www.lifeatcrossroads.info or at Guest Services on a Sunday morning. Everyone over 18 who desires to be baptized must attend the Baptism Class on Sunday, October 15. Details will be emailed to participants after they have registered. Anyone under the age of 17 must meet with a pastor prior to baptism. They will be contacted by a pastor after they have registered. Please email grow@lifeatcrossroads.org with any questions.

Parent Dedication

Parents, join us on Sunday, November 12,  to dedicate yourselves and your children to the Lord. Parent Dedication celebrates the commitment to raise your child in the ways of the Lord and invites you to join a community of believers who can help you and hold you accountable. To join Parent Dedication, sign up at www.lifeatcrossroads.info or stop by Guest Services here on a Sunday. For any questions, email us at  info@lifeatcrossroads.org.

Ways to Give

Interested in partnering with Crossroads through giving? You can give by check/cash during our services with a giving envelope, online, or via text by texting “lifeatcrossroads” to 77977. To start giving today, go to www.lifeatcrossroads.info.

Looking Ahead

The Elders are always looking to the future to care for Crossroads as we continue to mature as a Church. Over the next months, we will be transitioning from Savia to our permanent location, adding new ministry opportunities. Also, with the news that Steve Stark, our Church Administrator and his wife, Lesly, are looking to retire and relocate to Texas next year, to be closer to their kids, the Elders are in the process of opening an Executive Pastor position. This position will help to carry the ever-increasing leadership load at Crossroads. Pray with the Elders for God to raise up the right man for this critical position at Crossroads. Exciting days are ahead as we follow Him.

Crossroads is excited to present its 2018 missions Go Teams! We hope to send a team of trained men to do construction in Haiti this winter. This summer, we plan to send a local team to the Hope Gardens, a branch of the Union Rescue Missions that is a women and children’s shelter in Sylmar, as well as to Mexico and Haiti for VBS, help at the orphanage, possible construction work, evangelism, etc. For those interested in being on any of these missions teams or learning more, we will be holding a Go Team interest meeting on Sunday, October 15. Please attend either the 9:30 or 11:00 am meeting in Conference Room A, which is located up the stairs, second room to the left. Please email go@lifeatcrossroads.org with any questions!

TEN

Ten is a mission we launched on our ten-year anniversary, when the Crossroads family, by God's grace, commits to giving our lives away in three ways. First, is by planting ten healthy Bible-teaching churches. Second, is to build out and pay off the Valencia Crossroads' main campus within the next ten years. Last, is to identify, select, and financially underwrite the cost to send ten teenage orphans to the Master's University. Join us. Together, we can invest in the future today by making your check out to TEN or donating online at www.lifeatcrossroads.info. All contributions to Ten are tax-deductible under IRS guidelines.
