SPOTLIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT
PLUS (+) Ministry: Join us today under the white tent in our outdoor lobby to learn about the support we are hoping to offer to our family members with special needs in the upcoming months. If you have a child with special needs or are interested in serving with us, we will be outside the main campus to answer any questions you may have during all three services.
ALL CHURCH
This Sunday at Crossroads, Dr. Gene Getz will be sharing from our current series on the "Theology of Sexuality" with the topic "Is Marriage Defined or Discovered?” God holds the patent on human sexuality, so we are looking at what the scriptures have to say about this topic. This is an important topic that has been hijacked by our culture. Parents, we know our kids attend the Sunday Worship Services, and the sermons will take their presence into account. We seek to be biblical and sensitive with each Sunday topic. Next week we conclude the series with, “Is Sexuality Glandular or Godly?”.
Building Tours: Take a look at our future home at 25300 Rye Canyon. Come by next Sunday, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a tour and see the progress of the construction in person.
Crossroads Christmas Party: Join us for our annual all-church Christmas party at the Valencia Ice Station on Sunday, December 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.! Tickets are available now at www.lifeatcrossroads.org/signup. This year, we will "Fund the Farm" as we partner with Children's Hunger Fund to purchase farm animals for families in need around the world. You won't want to miss this night! We also need volunteers to help set up, serve food, and sell tickets at the door. If you would like to help serve, please email go@lifeatcrossroads.org or visit the Registration cart.
Crossroads Christmas Services: Worship Services will be held on December 24th in the Main Campus at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5 p.m., and will feature For All Seasons. Childcare for birth through kindergarten will be provided.
Crossroads New Year's Services: Worship services will be held on December 31st in the Main Campus at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. Childcare for birth through kindergarten will be provided.
GO MINISTRY
Our November GO Partner Spotlight is Blanket Blessings, led by Crossroads member Megan Fick, a mercy ministry that reaches outto local and global communities. Megan and other volunteers tie blankets to be given to those in need locally, at public high schools, and to send with our missions’ teams to our partners around the world. They meet on the fourth Thursday of each month. If you are interested in becoming a part of this ministry, please email go@lifeatcrossroads.org.
AWANA Lifeline Bibles: Come to the tent after service to purchase or learn more about the Life Essentials Study Bible with sermons featuring Dr. Gene Getz accessed on your smartphone. You can also make a donation to help AWANA Lifeline to get a Bible in the hands of an inmate.
Christmas for Missionaries: As Christmas approaches, we want to bless our global GO partners with a special gift. During the month of November, you can visit the table in our outdoor lobby and give to any of our global missionaries. Email go@lifeatcrossroads.org with any questions.
Be a part of serving at the Overcomer's Dinner at the Union Rescue Mission in downtown LA on Friday, December 9! Spots are very limited, so please visit Registration Central today to sign up. TEN
TEN is a mission we launched on our ten-year anniversary, when the Crossroads family, by God's grace, commits to giving our lives away in three ways. First, is by planting ten healthy Bible-teaching churches. Second, is to build out and pay off the Valencia Crossroads' main campus within the next ten years. Last, is to identify, select, and financially underwrite the cost to send ten teenage orphans to the Master's University. Join us.
